In the Atlantic League championship series last night, Long Island defeated Lancaster 12-5 in Game 3 to take a 2 games to 1 lead in the best-of-5 series. In the MLB Wild Card games, St. Louis defeated Atlanta 6-3 and Baltimore beat Texas 5-1. Winners in the Week 6 CFB Picks were Syracuse (14-13 over Pittsburgh) and BYU (6-3 over Utah State). Happening today are the Shriners Open Day 3, the Atlantic League championship series Game 4 and 29 of the 30 remaining Week 6 CFB picks.<\/p>\n

    CFB Week 6 Picks – <\/strong>Week 6 picks end on Sunday with the Montreal @ Laval CIS game, so the 16 points to the week’s winner(s) will count towards Block 2.<\/p>\n

    Shriners Open – <\/strong>The event that is overwhelmingly likely to decide Block 2 is now underway. As with other UvU events, the top 10 finishers earn points on a sliding scale from 80 to 8, with a 32-point bonus for anyone who correctly picks the winner. Thus, 112 points are possible in this one.<\/p>\n
