MB Playoff Roundup – June 11

MB Playoffs – Round 4

Round 4 meanders at a leisurely pace compared to the rapid fire action of the previous rounds. Instead of a sprint, the final places are determined in a race that lasts the entire month of June.

  • There are 16 points possible (AHL) today

Bristol’s lead ballooned as large as 180 over the weekend but Jimmy fought back by gaining ground during D-I Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field. The lead was briefly under 100 on Monday before Bristol gained 16 points back thanks to Oregon State’s victory in D-I Baseball Super Regionals.

Doug and Danny have battled to just a 9-point difference through the final round’s first 15 days. Amazingly, it is not the closest contest at this point.

6

Ryan

The first blowout of round 4 as JP combined his NHL dominance with Ryan’s absence for work (Delaware!) to equal a runaway.

tonewil

In the last blog post, Greg maintained a 2-point cushion over tonewil.  tonewil has come back with a vengeance, turning that 2-point deficit into a 7-point advantage. I’m not sure the lead has ever even been double figures in this one. These two currently have the #1 and #2 point totals in round 4 and went 1-2 in points in the last week.
